If you are attending an event organised by the Students’ Union you can access support from the Bystander Intervention Team.
The Bystander Intervention Team is there to support the Roehampton community by supporting students that may have been affected by sexual harassment/assault. The Bystanders also provide wellbeing and welfare support to attendees by working closely with our security and medical team. The Bystanders work alongside the RSU events team to provide a safe environment for all.
The team are present at Students’ Union events, both on and off-campus, they offer pastoral support, interventions and reporting incidents when they happen.
You will see the team wearing blue tops and stationed at various locations across the event.
